Our team consists of highly reputable and experienced individuals who truly enjoy making a difference and improving life through healthier salt products. Our management provides a firm backbone for our worldwide food business with remarkable skill sets and top track records. As we continuously expand our infrastructure, interested professionals are encouraged to join our successful team.
Tero Huopaniemi, President and CEO, has worked with functional
food ingredients for over 20 years, most recently as President Asia-Pacific for
Danisco A/S, a leading food and bio-ingredient company. Tero has been involved
with several winning functional food ingredient concepts, including the highly
successful Xylitol launches in Asia.
Deborah A. Rolf, Executive Vice-President, Americas, has also over
30 years of experience in the food and food ingredients markets, prior to Smart
Salt as President North America, Danisco A/S. Deborah has wide-ranging exposure
to the US food ingredients market and will lead our activities to create a
strong presence with American processed food manufacturers
Tapio Maki, Chairman and Founder, has 12 years experience in
start-up ventures and business development. Prior to Smart Salt, he was with the
Nokia Corporation.
